Grace Chapel was founded by a community of Anglicans and conservative Episcopalians in the Rochester, MN area. We believe that the Episcopal Church of the United States erred in the decisions made at the 2003 National Convention and actions taken since that time. We have gathered together for worship, fellowship, prayer, mutual support, and Bible study to discern and act upon what God would have us do as a result of those decisions. We continue to believe in the foundations of the historic Anglican Church, its traditions, long held beliefs, and creeds.
Anyone in the Rochester, MN area who acknowledges Jesus Christ as the Son of God, recognizes the Holy Bible as the authoritative Word of God, and affirms and upholds the Anglican Traditions and the World Wide Anglican Communion is encouraged to contact us and become part of our community. In that way, you will be kept informed of meeting dates, times, and locations and can become involved in our on-line discussions.
One thing we know from Christian History is that this isn't the first time Believers have encountered situations such as ours. In each case, the result was a revitalized, more exciting church than what existed before. While we all hate to see what has happened to our beloved Episcopal Church, we can rest assured that God's Plan is still being played out and that He is still firmly in charge.
